Margaret "Peggy" Vadney Lee died October 20, 2009 in Reno, NV.
Peggy was born March 31, 1925 in Chico, CA. She was the oldest child of Albert and Evelyn (White)Vadney of Vina, CA. Peggy graduated from Chico High School and Chico State College. In 1947 she married Glynn B. Lee. They moved to Portola in 1950 and lived there until 2000. Peggy worked for many years as a substitute teacher and home school teacher. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and her beloved Portola Sewing Club. After Glynn retired, Peggy and Glynn very much enjoyed the time they spent traveling throughout the United States and Europe.
Peggy was preceded in death by Glynn, and leaves daughters Margaret Turner and Gail Lee, son Russell Lee, seven grandchildren and her brother Richard Vadney.
No services are planned at this time. A celebration of life will be held on May 29, 2010, from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm at the Graeagle Fire Hall in Graeagle, CA.
